Distinctive crystallization approaches of Si ingots are proposed via the DS strategy. The standard multi-crystalline Si ingots are made by charging the feedstock directly in the Si3N4-coated crucible where liquid Si crystallizes on silicon nitride particles, causing the growth of large grains and si
